Einstein got an idea: E=mc
2
“Everything must be made as simple as possible. But not simpler.”
Albert Einstein
A theoretical physicist who developed the theory of relativity
This equation shows that the mass of an object, no matter how small, can be transformed into a tremendous amount of energy. And vice-versa, a large amount of energy can turn into mass.
The big bang theory would not make sense if it weren't for this famous equation because it also answers “how can matter be created from ‘nothing’?” Well, the singularity moment before the Big Bang was not ‘nothing’. It was a huge amount of energy (with no mass) concentrated into a tiny point. With E=Mc2, Einstein proposed that energy could be changed into matter.
